33 WALTON STREET USER AGREEMENT
1. Agreement Overview
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of the community space provided by 1922 & You located at 33 Walton Street, Corrigin, Western Australia, 6375 (“Venue”). By booking or using the Venue, you (“User”) agree to comply with the terms outlined herein.
2. Acknowledgment of Risks
The User acknowledges that using the Venue carries inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, health risks, property damage, equipment malfunction, theft or vandalism, weather-related hazards, and other unforeseen events. The User agrees to use the Venue at their own risk.
3. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the User releases, waives, and discharges 1922 & You, its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, and causes of action arising from or related to the use of the Venue, including any claims for personal injury or property damage. The User agrees to hold harmless 1922 & You from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of the User’s use of the Venue or any violation of this Agreement.
4. Booking Conditions
- The User must provide accurate information when booking the Venue.
- No entry is permitted to the Memorial Hall building.
- No smoking is permitted anywhere within the Venue.
- All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed by 1922 & You.
- Any damage or issues must be reported promptly to 1922 & You. Contact details can be found at the bottom of this agreement.
- The Venue must be left in the same condition as it was found, or better.
- Rubbish must be placed in the bins provided.
- Toilet lights must be turned off and toilet doors closed upon exiting the Venue.
- Water (e.g. taps and hoses) must be turned off upon exiting the Venue.
- The sale of alcohol, food or beverages is not permitted without the prior written permission of 1922 & You.
- In the case of an emergency, the User will call 000.
- No dogs are permitted within the Venue (service dogs are exempt).
Additionally, if accessing the annexure (“Hub”) space:
- Floors and tables must be left clean.
- All equipment, including tables and chairs, must be returned to the Hub if moved outdoors.
- The property of other Users must not be touched unless prior permission from the property owner/s is obtained.
- Airconditioning and lights must be turned off upon exiting the Hub.
- Doors must be locked upon exiting the Hub and the key retuned to the lockbox and secured.
5. Compliance with Laws
The User agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Venue, including health and safety regulations.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by contacting 1922 & You. Contact details can be found at the bottom of this agreement.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and using the Venue, the User confirms their acceptance of these terms and agrees to abide by all conditions stated herein.
